Questions and answers

Do I need to be strong or flexible?

No. We start from zero; strength and flexibility come with training. Everyone works at her own pace.

How old do I need to be?

There is no age limit: people of different ages train together. If you are under 18, you confirm at sign-up that you have a parent's permission.

What should I wear?

Shorts and a top or sports bra: bare skin helps you grip the pole. In pole dance and aerial acrobatics we train barefoot; in exotic, in heels or barefoot. Don't put body cream on that day.

How much is the first class?

5 €. After that a group class is 10 €, and a card works out cheaper.

How do I pay?

In cash at the studio. There is no online payment.

How do cards work?

There are 4, 8 and 12-class cards. A card covers group classes and open practice and is valid for 30 days from the day you buy it. Each booking marks one class on it, and you can see how many are left in "My classes". You buy cards in cash at the studio. Workshops are not included.

How do I cancel a class?

From "My classes". It's free until 22:00 the evening before for morning classes and until 4 hours before the others. Any booking can also be cancelled free of charge within 10 minutes of making it.

What if I cancel late or don't come?

With a card, one class is marked on it. Without a card you owe the price of that class, up to 10 €, paid on your next visit.

What is the waiting list?

If a class is full, you can join its waiting list. When a place opens, the first person on the list is booked automatically and gets a message.

Does a class go ahead if nobody books?

If nobody has booked by the cut-off time (22:00 the evening before, or 4 hours before), the class is cancelled.

Everything else is in the studio rules.

We decide what data is collected and why, and we are responsible for it.

What we keep and why

Your account and bookings: name, phone, email, your password (stored only in protected form; we can't see it), whether you are over or under 18, which rules you accepted and when, your bookings and waiting-list places. We need them to book you into classes; the legal basis is our contract with you (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)).

Messages about your bookings: confirmations, cancelled classes, freed places and your card running out, by email and as phone notifications. You switch phone notifications on and off yourself. Legal basis: the contract.

Cards, payments and amounts owed: accounting law requires us to keep them (art. 6(1)(c)).

Account protection: we count sign-in attempts to stop password guessing. Legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6(1)(f)). You can object at any time.

We post photos or video of you only with your explicit consent (for anyone under 18, also a parent's). You can withdraw it at any time, as easily as you gave it. Without consent you train as usual.

We never ask about or store your health. We send no adverts or newsletters and never sell data. We make no automated decisions about you.

Who sees it

The studio's teachers, and our accountant (accounting records only).

Cloudflare (the site and database, on servers in the EU and other regions) and Resend (sending email) process it for us. Both are US companies certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (European Commission Decision 2023/1795), and our agreements with them also include the EU standard contractual clauses.

Instagram (Meta) receives only the photos and videos we post with your consent.

How long

Bookings, cards, payments and amounts owed: 10 years, because the accounts are kept from them (Bulgarian Accountancy Act, art. 12).

Your account: while you use it. If you ask us to delete it, we delete your name, phone and email; the accounting records stay for 10 years without them.

Sign-in attempts: 90 days. Emails and notifications: 1 year. A waiting-list place: until the class ends.

Consent to photos and video: while the material is published and for 3 years after.

Cookies

The site sets one cookie, only when you sign in, to keep you signed in. It is needed for your account to work, so we don't ask for consent (Bulgarian E-Commerce Act, art. 4a). It is deleted when you sign out or it expires.

We count visits on the server, without cookies, without storing IP addresses and without recognising your device. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, so there is no banner.

Your rights

You can ask to see your data, correct or delete it, restrict how we use it, receive it as a file, or object to how we use it (GDPR art. 15-22). Write to info@poledanceyambol.com or call +359 893 750 265. We reply within one month.

If you think we are breaching your rights, you can complain to the Bulgarian Commission for Personal Data Protection: 2 Prof. Tsvetan Lazarov Blvd, Sofia 1592, www.cpdp.bg.
